The Ghost of the Former Stronghold

A stronghold once stood within a farm complex in Předlánce, haunted by a sad White Lady. She emerged from the cellar, crossed the courtyard, climbed the stairs and wandered through the rooms as if searching for someone. At midnight she returned to the cellar, weeping bitterly. She had been a girl abducted from a nearby castle by the cruel lord. His robber accomplices murdered her parents and burned the castle. They imprisoned her in the cellar, allowing her to walk in the yard only occasionally. The knight's servant fell in love with her, and they planned to escape. But the cruel lord learned of it, had the boy's eyes put out and tortured the girl. On the anniversary of her beloved's death, her spirit still wanders among the walls of the present farm building and the stronghold courtyard.
