This is the name of a group of stones on a rise (297 m), two kilometres northwest of the village. They are also known as the Devil's, Sacrificial or Pagan Stones. Once, in a strong wind, the Devil drove his carriage against them to collect offerings placed here by superstitious people. Grooves from the wheels have been visible on the stones ever since. A treasure is also supposedly buried nearby, appearing on the surface once a century on St John's Eve.
