Prehistoric stone ramparts stand on Jaslov hill above the village. According to legend, a castle once stood here, occupied by a savage knight who amassed an enormous treasure through robbery. Eventually he even had a golden saddle made. After one of his expeditions the castle was burnt down, and he and his companions were killed. The saddle and treasure remained in the ruins, guarded by a large black dog. They can be reached only at midnight on Christmas Eve. A man once supposedly tried and entered through an open passage to the treasure, where two huntsmen were shovelling gold in a wooden tub. He wanted to take some, but burnt himself and fled.
