At one spot above the stream in Podťaté, two wagonloads of gold are buried. Soldiers supposedly left them here while marching to Poland. They never returned, and the money remained. A little blue flame appears above it, especially in autumn during Advent. Another treasure is said to be buried at Bzové, on a hill in the stream bank. Yet another lies in the rock below Kopeček beside the road to Babská, supposedly a great cauldron full of ducats. A large treasure is also hidden in a cave in Baraní mountain, north of Karolinka. A version of the legend tells of a woman who left her child here for gold and could see it again only a year later. Other robbers' treasures are supposedly concealed in the Fox Holes beyond Žihlavná, and another at Strunžiska is guarded by the ghost of a headless black man who roams at night with a lit pipe.
