A curious fable from Velká Losenice tells of a fext in the cemetery ossuary, among whose dried limbs a local farmer's hen laid eggs. When the farmer collected them, the fext came to life and invited itself to dinner. The farmer saved himself only through exceptional presence of mind. The ossuary, with the remains reverently arranged in two rectangular stacks, still exists. (See Honbice.)
