During Advent the ghosts of cruel, unmotherly women in white robes appeared between Sloup and Šošůvka. They were called jeskyňky here. They inhabited the deep karst caverns of the Sloup–Šošůvka Caves and, as punishment, had to roam the countryside frightening people.
