At the village’s northwestern edge towards Nechanice, behind house no. 1, parts of a mound and water-filled ditches lie in the meadows. An old manor fortress once stood here, and the place is still called Na valech, At the Ramparts. Legend says an underground treasure is guarded by two fiery dogs whose mouths shoot flames. At night a blue flame can be seen above the treasure’s hiding place. People say “the treasure is burning” or “the gold is being purified.”
