On the left bank of the Velička, four kilometres south of the town, lies the so-called Potštát Rock Town. Stories told of a sprite called Golden Apell, who supposedly had a cave here filled with gold and precious stones. Not far from the Sprite’s Little House, north of the path beside the Boškovský stream, stands a huge rock block known as the Devil’s Rest. It is linked to the legend of Pustý zámek (Puchart), whose owner was carried off by the Devil after losing a wager. The Devil rested with him on this block. Another legend concerns the Devil’s Wall, with the imprint of his pitchfork, which is also shown here. (See Puchart.)
