When the water in the Ohře is low, people say that the vault of an underground passage can be seen on the riverbed. It leads from the former monastery beneath the river all the way to Skupice, emerging beneath the church there. The monks hid silver statues of the twelve apostles in the passage; another version says they were of pure gold. Many people have tried to enter the secret tunnel, but so far no one has succeeded.
