Above the village of the same name stand the ruins of a Gothic castle founded around 1300. Tradition says it also belonged to the Knights Templar for a time. At midnight the ghost of a headless knight in white appears here, sometimes as a boy with a golden horseshoe emblem on his chest. The lord allegedly once pushed his wife from a nearby isolated boulder because she had failed to prevent their child’s death. The ghost is that child, whose head was severed by a heavy chest lid when he peered inside out of curiosity. The countess’s spirit appears beside the solitary stone near the castle, as does a white horse with a silver star.
