On a high promontory above the Radbuza stand the ruins of a mighty castle from the second half of the 13th century, the oldest ancestral residence around Plzeň. A treasure is said to be hidden in its cellar, guarded by a large black dog breathing fire. On Christmas Eve, while midnight Mass is celebrated in Litice church, a white horse circles the castle with a golden key in its mouth. Only someone born on a Sunday can see it. After Mass the cellar closes, and anyone delayed inside can no longer get out.
