East of the village lies Janovický forest and Buková hill (468 m), said to contain great treasures. A huntsman once robbed people here and hid his spoils in the hill. After death he supposedly has to build his golden château inside it as punishment, without being allowed to sleep. He dozes only once a year on Midsummer's Eve. Only then can people come and take some treasure, but they must beware of his horse, which constantly circles around. On other days the Wild Huntsman appears here, his horse breathing fire through its nostrils.
