Above the right bank of the Tichá Orlice lies Peliny nature park. One local rock is called Komín, the Chimney. Vranov castle once stood on another rock beside it. A deep well was said to lie there, and the castle's lord sank a great treasure into it before departing for a war from which he never returned. Several local people tried to recover it and two lost their lives, but the treasure remains in the well. An underground passage survives from the castle, leading as far as Vrchovina and the great Komíny rocks. Beyond Choceň the Orlice flows northwest. Two more castles once stood on its left bank: Hlavačov and Zítkov. Great treasures are said to lie hidden in both. At Zítkov the treasure belonged to a robber knight and opens only on Good Friday during the Passion reading.
