At night a White Lady appears here, girdled with a black ribbon and carrying a child’s head beneath her arm. She can supposedly be seen running around the valley and wailing pitifully, especially beneath the Devil’s Wall near the rock called the Nun. Legend says that whoever frees her will be shown the entrance to an underground castle hiding treasures.
