A White Lady’s ghost appears at Doksy Château, originally Renaissance and later remodelled in Baroque style. She appears at midnight, passes through the chambers and on dark nights ventures into the park. In life her name was Alžběta and she was the wife of Kristián Wallenstein. As a young woman she was a renowned beauty. Later her only daughter drowned in a garden pool in the château park. Alžběta wasted away afterwards and was soon buried. People say that anyone who meets her will receive good fortune.
