Výpustek Cave in the Moravian Karst has an unusually varied military history. During the Second World War the Germans built an underground factory code-named Dinar, producing aircraft-engine parts. Production was destroyed during the retreat in spring 1945. In the 1960 s a large Czechoslovak nuclear shelter was built inside the cave.
