After its Wiener Neustadt plant was bombed, Wiener Neustädter Flugzeugwerke transferred some production to unfinished railway tunnels between Tišnov and Křižanov. Under the code name Diana, Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighters were produced here: fuselages in the Dolní Loučky tunnel, wings in the Lubné tunnel and other parts in the Níhov tunnel. Traces of this extensive wartime operation remain in the landscape.
