Above Rokytník, now part of Hronov, rises the wooded Turov mountain (602 m), surrounded by many legends. Like Blaník, it conceals the knights of St Wenceslas. Below the summit beside the path is a steep rock called Křivda's Quarry or Turov Gate, in which the outline of an underground passage's arch can supposedly be seen. It is the entrance to the mountain, opening on Good Friday. An enormous treasure guarded by dwarfs is hidden here too. A version of the tale about a woman who, distracted by treasure, forgot her child inside the mountain and saw it again only a year later is told here. At Turov's northeastern foot is a 'fairy ring' that never becomes overgrown, where the area's mythical beings supposedly gathered.
