Třinec · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

Secrets of the Surrounding Hills

Pagan idols supposedly once stood on Velká Čantoryje mountain (995 m), on the Polish border. Treasures are hidden inside. An army also rests within it, destined to come to the country's aid in its darkest hour. See Čantoryje. On Godula hill (738 m) dwells Zlatohlavec, the king of snakes. A version of the legend about him and his little crown, also known elsewhere, is told here. See Godula.
