A masonry bridge was built across the moat on the summit of Třemšín in 1862. There is a kind of entrance in the moat which, according to legend, extends to deep cellars full of money. A secret passage leads from them to nearby Kobylí hlava. On the left side of the moat is the filled-in castle well. It too supposedly hides a treasure, guarded by a forest sprite in a red cap, living in an old underground passage from Třemšín to Rožmitál. The treasure can be seen only on Good Friday, and not a word must be spoken. Once several men from nearby Roželov went to the castle well on Good Friday to dig it up. They were successfully pulling it out when they heard a shout: 'Roželov is on fire!' They looked round, and meanwhile the treasure vanished.
