At a place called Borová, a cave is hollowed into the white rock and leads all the way to Suché Doly near Tisovec. According to legend, it was licked out by the tongue of a šarkan, the Slovak name for a dragon, which tormented the surrounding countryside. The local inhabitants eventually poisoned it with poison sewn into an oxhide.
