The Seven Sleepers

On Zámecký Hill in Teplice, the ghost of a knight, one of those hidden inside the hill, is said to have appeared for eight hundred years. A brook flowing from the hill is often yellow; folk imagination saw this as liquid manure seeping from the underground stables of the sleeping knights. They were called the Seven Sleepers. Between midnight and one in the morning, the ghost of a large, powerful headless man also appears here.
