Near Šluknov rises Botzenberg hill (543 m), distinguished by its stone field and detached basalt blocks. A long rampart of ancient origin runs around its foot. It is said that a dragon once cast off its burden here, an immense mass of boulders from which the hill arose. There is also a story about the so-called Church of St Michael, a solitary rock in the forest at the summit, where a great treasure is supposedly buried.
