Above the village on Starojický Hill, as it is called locally, stand the ruins of a mighty early Gothic castle. Beneath it lay a treasure guarded by the ghosts of its miserly owner and four black figures. A hurdy-gurdy player supposedly finally obtained it and divided the money fairly: half he gave to the poor, keeping the other half. Another version says the treasure remains there today.
