This was supposedly the seat of robber knights who were also sorcerers and kept a large library in the local fortified manor. The Stochov missal is said to have come from it. In nearby Vašírov near Lány stood a watchtower called Sobínek, from which a secret underground passage supposedly led to Sobín manor.
