The highest peak in the eastern České středohoří Mountains (726 m), above Liběšice, was already described at length by B. Balbín in his Miscellanea. At the summit of Sedlo one can see the so-called Devil’s Ravine. It was created when the devil carried stones westward from here to build a bridge over the Elbe in a single night. He failed to finish before cockcrow, the bridge collapsed, and only a pier remained standing in the massif of Buková hora above Těchlovice. (See Buková.)
