Above the main entrance to St Ignatius’s Church in Březnice were portraits of Přibík Jeníšek of Újezd, dressed in dark clothing with keys in his hand, and his wife, also in black, holding a rose. The Lokšan family, local landowners, had to leave the country after the Battle of White Mountain. The owner of the Březnice estate buried the family treasure beneath a rosebush in the château’s deer park. The château was later confiscated and passed to the ruthless Přibík Jeníšek, who had it expensively rebuilt; the church was also founded at that time. The new lord probably seized the Lokšan treasure, as seems suggested by his and his wife’s choice to be portrayed with attributes connected to the legend.
