Devil’s Hill

A small cone-shaped hill above Skala, on the road to Divoška, is called Devil’s Hill. It is supposedly a remnant of the Devil’s labour when he tried to flood Moravia in a single night, carrying enormous stones from the Osvětimany Hills to the Morava River at Napajedla. Towards morning, surprised by a crowing rooster, he dropped his last load here.
