A treasure allegedly lies in cellars beneath the old gamekeeper’s lodge, formerly a Premonstratensian convent. During the Thirty Years’ War, troops carrying plunder passed through and left much of it here. The nuns added a golden monstrance and a golden hen with twelve chicks. Their souls supposedly guard the treasure. Mysterious knocking is sometimes heard underground: the hen calling her chicks.
