The Devil’s Button

Southwest of the village, on pastures near Mastník Brook, lies a partly buried boulder with a hole about ten centimetres across. Devils once played with buttons here out of boredom, throwing them from Mlýnský hill south of Osečany towards Smrčiny forest southwest of the village. The perforated stone is one of their buttons that rolled here.
