On the way to this mountain village near the German border, a rock in the woods drops steeply towards the road. It is called the Robbers’ Castle, although there is no trace of any former dwelling here. According to legend, the ghosts of three white maidens appear at the spot. The rock is also linked to a version of the story of a mother dazzled by treasure who left her child inside an open mountain and was reunited with it only a year later.
