The ruins of the old Church of St John the Baptist and a chapel of St Siard, known as the apostle of the Teplá Highlands, stand here. The hermit founded the chapel himself and is allegedly buried nearby on the slope in a golden coffin. His statue stood above the grave site until the previous century. In the Church of Sts Peter and Paul in the new village of Mnichov, built a little farther away, the crypt contains mummified 18th-century bodies and painted coffins. A statue of St Christopher also stands here.
