Minčol is a granite mountain (1,364 m) on the boundary between the Trenčín and Turiec regions. Beneath it is a rock in which Jánošík’s treasure is allegedly buried inside an ox bladder. It can supposedly be found only on St John’s Eve. Another treasure is also said to lie beneath Opoka hill.
