Mimoň · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

A Burned Mark for the Treasure Chest

A sheepfold once stood on the site of house no. 67/111. During the Thirty Years’ War it was occupied by Swedes carrying a full war chest. When imperial troops attacked, they had no time to take it away and buried it in the neighbouring garden. Later an unspecified burned mark was allegedly found there several times. Although the gardens have often been dug since, nothing has yet been found.
