Borotín - Hrad · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

The Devil’s Rock above Moraveč

A formation known as the Devil’s Rock lies on the slope above Moraveč. The devil dropped it here while flying from Borotín, where he had torn off a piece of rock, towards the mill below Moraveč, which he wanted to bury. But a cockerel crowed at this spot; the fiend lost his strength and the rock fell onto the slope, where it still lies.
