The lord of Borotín Castle once made a pact with the devil. When its term expired, he asked the devil to build a church in the nearby woods overnight. The fiend failed to fulfil the condition and dropped the last stone, shaped like a church bell’s clapper, at Hradisko just as a cockerel crowed in the village. The stone can still be seen there.
