On Levín hill (568 m), above Ždírec and Levínská Olešnice, are slight remains of a Gothic castle of the same name, recorded in 1333 but already deserted in the 16th century. Agates with delicate colour patterns can be found on the hill’s slopes. The ghost of a knight awaiting release appears among the ruins. He can be freed only once every three hundred years, when a skilled metalworker is found who can perfectly polish all the castle’s old armour.
