Kunžak · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

The Devil’s Footprints

There are many isolated rocks and rocking stones around Kunžak. On Liščí vrch (646 m), between Kunžak and Člunek, people point out the impressions left by the devil, who allegedly once rested here. The marks of his paws, his backside and the bottle from which he drank are imprinted in the rock. The Wild Hunt also races through the surrounding countryside at night. J. V. Grohmann tells of this in his Legends.
