Several places in the area are haunted by apparitions. A castle is said once to have stood in Na Suché forest towards Slatina; the site is still called Na hradě, “At the Castle”. The ghost of a golden-haired White Lady walked there, awaiting release from her enchantment. On the slope by house no. 116, formerly the communal cottages, is a cave associated with an extraordinary miners’ legend. A white horse is said to stand inside, feeding from one barrel and dropping silver coins into another behind it. Treasure was often sought here later.
