Krouna · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

The crown on the church

The village's name supposedly recalls King Vladislav's crown (1107–1125). A primitive spread-out iron crown is fixed above the doorway of St Michael's church. It was supposedly substituted by a foreign king for the golden Bohemian crown.
