Between eleven and midnight the Wild Hunt, also called the Chase, appeared near Valdice. It moved towards Lipník and Kundratice, then turned towards Kruh and the so-called Black Sea above Libštát. It was said to be a horde of evil spirits in the form of wild cats and dogs. Anyone caught alone in the forest was supposedly torn to pieces.
