A golden treasure still lies in Mydlovar castle's remains, guarded by a sprite and a great black dog. Once a year during the Passion it opens, and a righteous person can take as much as they can carry. A widespread tale also tells of a boy whose shoe fell into the cellar and was later recovered full of gold.
