Several White Lady legends concern the castle. One says Lucie, Zajíc's daughter, descends after death from the upper tower's battlements, in white with a large bloodstain on her chest, and vanishes in the Black Tower at midnight. Her fiancé once promised to bring a live dragon to the castle. She died before he returned. Years later he arrived with the dragon; hearing his beloved was dead, his heart broke. The dragon soon died too, its remains buried in the cellars. A flying dragon harnessed to a carriage also supposedly appears here sometimes.
