Underground rooms are supposedly cut beneath the castle. Legends speak of hidden cellars with barrels of excellent wine guarded by three little men. Secret masonry passages allegedly connect the castle's underground chambers with Košťálov and Budyně castles. One emerged at Sedlec below the castle. Some tales also place treasures underground.
