Kalich- Hrad · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

The Devil's Stone

A Hussite castle once stood on the hill of the same name, giving Jan Žižka his title ‘of Kalich’. A large phonolite boulder called the Devil's Stone lies on the summit. The devil supposedly counts money on it. On Palm Sunday the stone can supposedly be moved easily, revealing a great treasure beneath.
