The dragon of Koníček

A dragon once lived in the rocky caves of Koníček hill (688 m), southwest of the little town. It flew from there to Velká skála on Plešivec. It supposedly sometimes perched on rooftops in Jince. After resting it gave a sharp whistle and flew away. Some misfortune always struck the house it had sat on. People also said it ate small children. A similar tale here concerned a winged snake.
