Around 1630 the lord's captain Vejrych of Gemsenfels lived on a manorial farm in the old district of Jilem. He was supposedly skilled in black magic. His ghost haunted the place after death. A carriage drove at night from Hrabačov to Jilem, later even three carriages, carrying Vejrych's spirit and other black apparitions. Eventually a knacker from Pecka managed to banish his ghost, and it ceased to appear.
