Riches in Čihadlo

Local tradition says that a great treasure is hidden inside Čihadlo hill (432 m). A version of the legend about a woman who left her child inside a mountain on Christmas Eve is told here. Unlike the usual version of the tale, local people took pity on the woman and tried to dig their way into the hill. Their efforts were in vain, however, and the woman died within a year. The story also explains the unfinished adit on Čihadlo, occasionally used as shelter in bad weather.
