Villages in the Chod region had secret passages, often extending far into the fields, as a means of escape during enemy raids. Above Chodov towards Výhledy, to the right of the district road, is a field called Kopajna. Traces of a deep pit, now mostly filled in, can still be seen beside the road bridge. This is the exit from Chodov's secret passage. According to legend a great black dog appeared inside, dragging a chest full of gold coins. The passage is supposedly connected with similar ones in Klenčí pod Čerchovem and Postřekov.
