A ‘wandering root’ is said to grow in the nearby forests. Anyone who steps over it supposedly cannot leave the forest for three days. This once happened to a local charcoal burner. He lost his way and suddenly saw a magnificent castle with illuminated windows. He went inside and found many knights enjoying themselves together. But at the stroke of midnight the apparition vanished, and in the morning he awoke among the castle ruins.
